Former Vols offensive coordinator, Jim Chaney, is reportedly coming back to Knoxville.
Jim Chaney is coming back to Knoxville. He was Tennessee’s offensive coordinator from 2009 to 2012. The deal is reportedly a 3 year $5million deal.
Chaney has been an offensive coordinator for 19 years on the Power 5 level and his offenses have averaged 410.8/ypg over that time.
His most recent stop, he has been the OC for Kirby Smart at Georgia since 2016.
He has also led 6 QB’s to the NFL. OF course, the most notable being MVP Drew Brees.
