Tennessee #1 Despite Not Having Any Players in Top 100

You have heard coaches say it over and over, “Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard.” No team in America has shown that to be more truthful, than this years Tennessee basketball squad.

Tennessee is ranked #1 in the country in this weeks AP poll for only the 2nd time in school history. The greatest thing however, is they don’t have any of the nations top 100 out of high school.

Rick Barnes has done a tremendous job at coaching these guys up and it has paid off with a #1 ranking in January.

We won’t be able to say that too long. Josiah James, a 5 star player and ranked #15 in the country, has signed to play for Coach Barnes and Tennessee next season.
